Last night, the City Council recognized the hard work of Braden Zimmer on his Eagle Scout project. Braden planned, fundraised and completed concrete tee pads on the disc golf course at the Sauk River Park. Thank you Braden for all of your efforts for the community (and to the entire Boy Scout Troop 68 who assisted).
The City Council last night recognized the Melrose Area High School Knowledge Bowl and Speech Teams for their state team championships, and Esther Kapsner and Teague Dusha for their individual speech championships.
We are incredibly proud of these young people who represent our Melrose community so well, and consistently, with excellence each year. Thank you to them and their coaches!
