📢 Big News! The City of Melrose is now officially "dot-gov"!
We are excited to announce that our website address has changed to cityofmelrosemn.gov

Why the change?
Under Minnesota law (Statute 471.3422), cities are moving to .gov domains to increase cybersecurity and help residents easily identify official government sites. When you see .gov, you know it's us!

Last night, the City Council recognized the hard work of Braden Zimmer on his Eagle Scout project. Braden planned, fundraised and completed concrete tee pads on the disc golf course at the Sauk River Park. Thank you Braden for all of your efforts for the community (and to the entire Boy Scout Troop 68 who assisted).

🖤💙 Thank You, Law Enforcement Heroes! 💙🖤

This National Police Week, we extend our deepest gratitude to the dedicated men and women of law enforcement who protect and serve our communities every single day.
Putting on the badge requires immense courage, sacrifice, and a profound commitment to public safety. To our officers: thank you for answering the call, facing the unknown, and working tirelessly to keep our neighborhoods safe.
We also want to express our heartfelt thanks to the families of our officers, who share in this sacrifice and support our heroes behind the scenes.
To the men and women in blue—we see your dedication, we appreciate your sacrifice, and we stand with you today and every day. Thank you for your service!

Spring is a great time to make sure outdoor air is not entering the home
through faulty cracks or openings around the panes of your windows
and doors. Seal any air leaks by caulking or weather-stripping.

trees and other plants strategically around your home provides shade
and helps block the wind, making your home more energy efficient.
